DIY Baby Shower Gift!

Hi, Cuties! My friend recently had a baby shower, and up until the last minute I had no idea what to get her. So..I didn’t. I made her a gift that she and everyone else in attendance absolutely adored, and today I’m going to teach you how to make it!

This is such a unique baby gift! (And you can do it in twenty minutes or less!) So now, for the materials…

-Cup holder (I got mine from Sonic and cut the sides lower so you could see more clearly)
-Clear plastic cups (Mine are from a local coffee shop because I didn’t want any corporate logos)

For the cupcakes and milkshakes:
-3 pk of onesies
-2 pk of bibs
-2 pk of pants
-4 pk of mittens (these will be the “cherries”
-2 pk of nipples
-coffee filters
-rubber bands (to hold the inside of the cupcake)

Optional:
-Stickers to decorate the cups and cup holders
-Tissue paper to fill the bottom
-Ribbon to tie around the cupcakes

Alright, so, the first thing you need to do is fold a onesie in half, add a mitten inside to where it sticks up a bit, and begin rolling. As you roll the onesie, move up to give it a spiral look that has dimension. Avoid just rolling it up with no levels! For my cups, I wanted the design on the bibs to show, so I rolled the bib around the rolled onesie.
Stick everything inside the cup, and add a nipple on top!

For the cupcakes:
This is very similar to the milkshakes! Simply take a pair of pants, fold them in half, add a “cherry” (mitten) and roll it up. (You can add a bib like I did to make them bigger!) The rolling needs to be dimensional here, as well. You want it to look like a cone.
Wrap a rubber band around the cupcake’s base, and then place it inside a coffee filter. I highly recommend using multiple filters. This enhances the look.
Tie a ribbon around the base, and you’re done!

If you’d like, you can place tissue paper in the bottom and add some stickers and other decorations to give it some curb appeal 😉

Hope you enjoyed this DIY, and good luck!
